Hotel San José was created in the mind of Ivette Calero, owner of Hotel San José, when one day while walking down the streets of Matagalpa, she was constantly asked by tourists about a nice place where to stay while visiting Matagalpa. After helping out many tourists, Mrs. Calero found out that there weren´t many decent hotels in Matagalpa. As a result, she realized that there was a big demand by tourists for a nice , affordable, and reliable hotel where to stay during a visit to Matagalpa
